I received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh, in 2009, the M.Sc. degree in communications technology from Ulm University, Germany, in 2012, and the doctoral degree in engineering from Technical University of Berlin, Germany, in 2017. My M.Sc. and doctoral theses dealt with the design, fabrication and characterization of vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers, and high-power and high-brightness edge-emitting semiconductor lasers, respectively. From 2017 to 2021, I was a senior semiconductor engineer with VI Systems GmbH, a development engineer with TRUMPF Laser GmbH, and a postdoctoral researcher with the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut (FBH), Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik, Germany. In 2022, I joined BUET as an assistant professor. I am also serving as organizing memeber of several international confeernecs, e.g., ICTP 2023, IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC 2024), ICICT 2024. I am an associate editor of IEEE Photonics Journal. I authored and coauthored more than 30 peer-reviewd Journals and Conference proceedings. My research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning algorithms, image processing, computer vision, semiconductor lasers.
